It is used in adults to treat neuropathic pain, certain forms of epilepsy and anxiety disorders. Neuropathic pain (also known as nerve pain) is a long-lasting pain caused due to damaged nerve fibres present in the body. It is characterized by hot, burning, sharp, shooting, throbbing, or stabbing pain sensations with tingling or numbness of body parts. It may also cause mood changes, sleep disturbances and tiredness when nerve fibres supplying the brain are damaged. SONAXA 75MG CAPSULE can be used to treat certain forms of epilepsy (fits or seizures) when used in combination with other anti-epileptic medicines. It may also be effective in treating generalized anxiety disorders (severe anxiety that affects daily activities) when other medicines are not effective. Pregabalin controls seizures (fits) by reducing the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil-rich or spicy foods. Consult your doctor if your nausea worsens. Headache:   Rest and relax. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids such as water or electrolytes. Applying a pain-relieving balm on your forehead can be beneficial.
