Weighing just 80 grams, it is the lightest and lowest-stowing dovetail mount currently available while delivering exceptional mechanical strength and zero-wobble operation. The patent-pending ball detent system locks firmly in both stowed and deployed positions, preventing accidental movement and reducing mount flex that is common with other systems. Machined in the United States from 7075-T6 aluminum and 17-4 PH stainless steel, the Alpha Mount is built to withstand heavy field use while maintaining precise alignment.
